Acid etched after heat treating to reveal the Hamon line, which marks the delineation between hardened steel at the cutting edge, and softer steel towards the spine of the blade
The blade also features a Brut de Forge finish on the unground flat sections, showing the birth of the blade through fire, hammer and anvil.
The handle on this piece is slim, comfortable and stylish. With stunning Turkish Walnut wood and bright brass fittings.
Includes a leather sheath, made from durable, thick leather. Hand stitched and moulded to fit this piece like a glove. The Sheath has a deep, dark burgundy patterning and hand stitched seams.
Very comfortable worn in the sock as part of the traditional highland dress.
