Hand forged high-carbon steel blade, featuring a dark acid wash patina.  This black coating not only looks cool AF, but it aids in resisting rust!

You still gotta keep it clean and oil it every now and then, same as any other high carbon blade!

Could happily be used in the kitchen as a pairing knife for meal prep, or it would also make a great steak/fruit knife,

I left the 'Brut de Forge' texture on the ricasso area as I like to do.  Can't have everything being all clean ground and shiny, otherwise what's the point in whacking it with a hammer?

Handle is a 3-piece construction, elm burl up front, slice of brass, then sycamore (kinda like maple) at the derrière.

The angles & corners at the tang shoulder/ricasso area inspired the angular/faceted handle design

Quite thin and slicey.  A delicate wee blade for fine cuts.

Dimensions:

Blade - 100mm
Handle - 125mm
Total Length - 245mm

Weight - Not very much! (don't have scales on me, will do this in the morning)
