Dark Walnut Kitchen/Chef Knife

Dark Walnut handle scales and an acid etched 1084 high-carbon steel blade.  Handle on this one is angled up slightly which allows a great finger clearance from the cutting board even when held in a full fist grip.

Full tang design with 2x brass pins.  Scales undersized so the profile of the forged steel handle tang is fully on display, the edge rounded and bright, contrasting the dark etch of the rest of the steel.

Sharp, thin, full flat grind.  Should be great for onions, tomatoes, peppers and other veg prep in the home kitchen.

As with all high-carbon / non-stainless steels, please do not dishwasher this!  It will not be happy about it...  Simply hand clean as normal and dry immediately to prevent rusting, which will happen if you leave it wet for a period of time.

Carbon steel blades will build up a glorious patina over time from acidity in foods leaving a mark on the blade.  This is normal and expected.  It is not harmful and tells a unique story of the life of the tool you are using.  The longer you use it, the deeper the story will go...
